5 Best Pandals In Mumbai

Lalbaugh cha Raja:

Mumbai welcomes the Ganpati with a boom, transcending the glory of this Ganpati overseas. The city enthusiastically embraces the Ganpati festival with a lively and energetic celebration. The pomp and fiasco around is all about the mesmerizing pandals. The ropes and ties aren’t sufficient to restrict the love of a thousand towards their favourite idol. His fame traverses through generations, as he is believed to be Icchapurti - fulfilling the wishes of his devotees. Touted to be the fulfiller of wishes, if you do get the Darshan, this one is a must-visit for all.

Ganesh galli cha raja:

This is the nearest pandal to Lalbaugh cha raja,  Famous for replicating famous places in India, this is one of the oldest Ganpati pandals to adorn the city and was established for the benefit of mill workers. People are very excited to visit this place, don’t miss out on this pandal if you are planning to visit Ganpati of Mumbai.  Make sure to take your family and friends which will add more fun to your visit.

Chinchpokli cha raja:

Since the day this Ganpati arrives, the frenzy becomes absolutely wild. He is welcomed with pomp and grace. Chintamani Pandal is uniquely designed and used to house a massive idol. What’s the best part?  Throughout the year, about 60% of the money collected by the Mandal is used on social services. Girgaon cha raja:

Lokmanya Tilak established the first and oldest Mandal, Keshav Naik Chawl Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal in Girgaum. The Ganesh idol created by this Mandal is made of sustainable Shadu clay. The traditional Maharashtrian Pheta (Turban), which has come to be associated with the deity over history, is delicately adorned with it.  He was the start of Ganesha's fandom. Mumbai City’s hustle and bustle seems streamlined during the Ganesh festival.

Andheri cha raja:

Visit both if you're looking for the most well-known Ganesh Pandals in Mumbai because Andhericha Raja is just as well-known in the suburbs as Lalbaugcha Raja is in South Bombay. Numerous famous people and celebrities go there during Ganesh Chaturthi. The idol has a consistent appearance year after year, and the Mandal has made efforts to be more environmentally friendly.

In the tapestry of cultural celebrations, the Ganesh Festival shines as a radiant thread, weaving together devotion, artistry, and unity. As we draw the curtains on this vibrant celebration, we are left with memories that twinkle like the lights adorning the pandals. The grandeur of the festival, the fervour of the devotees, and the artistic marvels of the pandals have once again painted the canvas of our lives with colours of joy and togetherness.
